I think minecraft gets really boring once you obtain a reasonable stock of raw and refined materials because we’re all searching for something in life, on any scale, and when there’s nothing left to find it’s like yeah okay I have a sprawling house carved out of this mountain and chests full of diamond and gold and iron and obsidian and all these lovely things BUT WHAT THEN, MINECRAFT? WHAT THEN?
Granted I haven’t played much since the full version was originally released so there’s also that.
Today Lindsey came over and she opened this nice little gilded music box on my bookshelf and was kind of disturbed to find the mummified lizard I had put in there. Then she picked up another little decorated box I have and jokingly asked if there was anything dead in this one too and I cheerfully replied “Oh that’s my bug collection from high school”.
I feel this is very indicative of my life up to this point.
That is all.
Seeing Coldplay last night was honestly the highlight of my year. It was one of the best nights I’ve had in a long time, and it was definitely the best concert I’ve ever been to. I can’t put into words how passionate and uplifting and joyous and fucking religious it was. I was tearing up by the end of it. I have such renewed respect for those men.
